Beam Radiology provides several types of breast imaging including mammography, automated breast ultrasound, diagnostic breast ultrasound, breast interventions (biopsies etc.).
It’s important to keep up with regular screening as 75% of women who develop cancer have no family history of breast cancer.
In Alberta women aged 45 – 74 can self refer for screening mammogram. They do not need a referral or requisition.
The Women’s Health Imaging Program offers all diagnostic imaging services including ultrasound, XRAY, CT, and MRI.
